About RAUKTORI

Rauktori (ᚱᚨᚢᚲᛏᛟᚱᛁ) was born in Asgard, a child of the gods, but belief in a new age arose. As Christianity spread across the North, faith in the old gods began to fade.

Banished from Asgard, cast into darkness and death. Claimed by Satan in Hell, the viking drank of Satan’s blood, and through it was transformed into a deer-demon. The creature that serves the old gods, the Devil, and the rising faith of Christianity now belongs to both the dead and the living.

Shaped by classical discipline and the pulse of Nordic folk tradition, Rauktori carries the nyckelharpa as a weapon.

With the nyckelharpa as weapon, Rauktori decides the fate of souls between heaven and hell.
